In this tutorial, we'll teach you how to create calculations using the Calculation Tool.

Getting started

You should start from Part 0 - Getting started. In this part, you'll be setting up example data that you'll be using when working on the exercises.

Exercises

The tutorial consists of the following exercises:

• Part 1 - Calculation using variables - In this exercise, you'll write a calculation that sums up the time series from two variables and writes the result into a third variable.
• Part 2 - Single equipment instance - This part focuses on equipment properties. You'll calculate the volume of water in a tank based on the water level. It is possible to skip over Part 1 and start directly from this part.
• Part 3 - Equipment types - In this exercise, you'll implement the same calculation as in Part 2, but you'll use equipment types instead of equipment properties. You'll also be applying the calculation for all instances of the equipment type, instead of just one.
• Part 4 - API Whitelisting - This part focuses on how to add new value in whitelist.
